About the Journal

Qurthuba: The Journal of History and Islamic Civilization is a peer-reviewed history journal publishing high quality research and review articles related to the political, social, economic, cultural, and intellectual developments of the Islamic civilization. The journal focuses on the history of Islam and its origins, development, and impact in South East Asia.

Qurthuba: The Journal of History and Islamic Civilization is organized by the Department of History and Islamic Civilization, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The journal is published periodically twice a year in September and March.
